It was another one of my largest LEGO(R) SERIOUS PLAY(R) [LSP] workshop (for close to 60 people) specially designed for Institute of Technical Education IT Division to help them develop their strategies going forward. The project is a 2 phases one with the first one presented here. The second one is a part facilitation and part consultancy project to work with the senior leaders of the division to chart the way forward.
It took several months to plan and customize the design to ensure the highest likelihood to achieve the intended objectives: (1) to identify the winning aspiration for the division, (2) to uncover critical success factors to realise the aspiration and (3) to develop initiatives to ensure the fulfillment of the critical success factors and (4) team building, using my tried and proven workshop design methodology.
The final LSP design was inspired by my works with Sebastian which includes the use of several large canvases and the first time use of Google forms to consolidate the outputs from the participants after the LSP rich model sharing.
The outcomes were as expectedly great as we achieved >8 (out of 10) perceived achievement of objectives in the post-workshop survey beyond receiving many praises from the senior leaders of the IT Division, including the DCE of ITE (Guan Teck Heng). I am really excited on how to move this project into the second phase with the rich and insightful videos and data extracted from the first.
It was also my pleasure to once again have opportunity to work closely with my buddies LSP facilitators, Alvin Ananthan, Catherine Ineke Nauli, Serene Tay and Jocelyn Chua to execute the design beautifully. It is projects and relationships like such that make my works meaningful and purposeful.
My coddiwompling journey to value add to organizations through creative methods like LSP continues…
